O.J. Brigance will have the distinct honor of serving as the Keynote Speaker for the International Tracheostomy Symposium taking place April 29-30, 2016. This global event is being held at Johns Hopkins University.
O.J.'s designated session will take place on Friday, April 29 from 1:10 - 1:55 PM, he will be discussing 'Living with a Tracheostomy.'
This activity is designed to educate those caring for patients with difficult airway anatomy and/or tracheostomy. Participants will develop a comprehensive knowledge of the indications, contraindications, complications, and postoperative management of tracheostomy.
Who Should Attend?
This activity is intended for physicians and allied healthcare professionals (nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, speech language pathologists) from anesthesia and critical care medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonology, interventional pulmonology, and surgical specialties including otolaryngology, general surgery, pediatric surgery, and trauma surgery as well as hospital administrators.
