As part of the organization’s ALS Awareness Month initiatives to raise funds and awareness for people living with ALS, the Brigance Brigade Foundation is excited to present ALS Bites!
We know that ALS truly bites and we want to work with bars, restaurants and cafes statewide to raise funds to be able to continue to provide these patients with equipment, resource guidance and support services that will improve their daily lives.
Here’s how it works:
--In the weeks leading up to May 1, the Brigance Brigade Foundation is looking for any establishment – bar, restaurant, café, etc. – that wants to help support people battling ALS in their community. If you work in an establishment that is interested in participating, or know someone who might be, please reach out to the campaign coordinator, Jenn Eisenberg for more information – Jeisenberg@MaroonPR.com.
--Once restaurants are on board, each selects a special menu or drink item to highlight for the month of May.
--Now comes the fun part…all our supporters have to do is go and eat/drink the delicious items at one of our restaurant partners’ locations and you will be supporting the Brigade!
--At the end of the month, each restaurant will donate the proceeds, or a portion of the proceeds, from their selected items to the Brigance Brigade Foundation to help people living with ALS!
For those looking to support the Foundation, as well as great local restaurants throughout May, come out and taste the Brigance Brigade-themed items at the following participating locations (this list will be continually updated as restaurants commit):
--Blue Hill Tavern: 938 S Conkling St, Baltimore, MD 21224
